‘Trace of Blood’ sets opening box office record

Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian’s latest movie ‘Midday Adventures: Trace of Blood’ has reached the first spot of Iran's box office in its opening week.

The new blockbuster has reigned as box office champion with 13,000,000,000 Rials in the first week, beating the previous opening records.

‘Trace of Blood’ is a sequel to Mahdavian’s ‘Midday Adventures’ with a theme on the events after Iraq-Iran war and Mersad Operation.

Mahdavian’s movie has attended the main competition section of the 37th Fajr Film Festival and succeeded to sit on the list of the top 10 audience choices. This is while the film has also grabbed the attention of many cinema critics.

Likewise, the first sequel of the acclaimed title won several nominations at the 35th Fajr Film Festival and succeeded to grab the best film award.

Mohsen Kiaee, Javad Ezzati, Hasti Mahdavifar, Behnoush Tabatabaee, Hadi Hejazifar, and Hossein Mehri are on the cast list.
